The Grand Finale

Final Sail is the culminating chapter of the Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series presented by Teledyne Raymarine, where the season-long pursuit of the Burgundy Jacket reaches its conclusion.

Arriving at the peak of South Florida’s sailfish season, Final Sail is renowned for its explosive action and championship atmosphere. With every release carrying added significance, teams make their final push toward the top of the standings, knowing that months of preparation and two previous legs have all led to this moment.

When the final fish is released and the standings are set, only one team will earn the highest honor in billfishing: the Burgundy Jacket.

Secure your place among the sports elite billfishing teams to compete in leg three of the Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series presented by Teledyne Raymarine

Early Entry Deadline: March 24, 2027 ($1,200 per boat + tax)
Registration Deadline: April 7, 2027 ($1,700 per boat + tax)

All tournament entry fees are non-refundable. Teams may register online, by mail to Bluewater Movements, Inc., PO Box 50114, Lighthouse Point, FL 33074, or in person at the Captain’s Meeting. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the tournament’s early entry deadline of March 24, 2027. Teams registering in person may pay by cash, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, with a 3% convenience fee applied to all credit card transactions. CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT CAPTAIN’S MEETING. All tournament entry fees and optional calcutta payments must be finalized prior to the close of the Captain’s Meeting.

The grand finale begins off the coasts of Broward and Dade Counties, where elite teams compete for an $800,000 purse, and the Burgundy Jackets reserved exclusively for the tournament’s champions.

"Can your team survive all four rounds? This optional entry category is divided into four rounds across two days of competition, consisting of an Early Bite and Late Bite session each day. At the start of every round, a number between 1 and 5 will be randomly drawn from a sealed container to determine the minimum number of sailfish a team must release to advance. Each number will only be drawn once. To win the pot, a team must survive all four rounds. If multiple teams advance through the final round, the team with the most releases in that round will be declared the winner, with ties broken by the earliest last qualifying release. If no team completes all four rounds, the pot rolls over to the next leg of the Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series.
